Here is a new Brazilian coffee from Minas Gerais, from the Finca of the Dutra brothers Ednilson & Walter. The Dutra family is an example in specialty coffee in Brazil through their environmentally friendly practices by growing without chemical inputs . They also planted “green barriers” protecting the coffee trees against strong winds and providing ecological and natural control against pests. The brothers focus on managing the water used in coffee washing. The farm also recycles coffee waste to be used as fertilizer for planting, and all plastic waste from the farm is recycled.

*SCA rating: This rating is defined according to criteria established by the Specialty Coffee Association. A coffee is considered to be specialty when it exceeds a score of 80. The main criteria are: aromas, acidity, body, aftertaste, balance, etc.
